Hi I’m Hailey and I’m an designer, developer, graphics reporter, art director and illustrator based in Washington, D.C.

I’ve been at The Washington Post since May 2022 and I work across the newsroom on editorial illustration, art direction, digital development for enterprise projects, and print design and layout.

I graduated from the Hussman School of Journalism and Media at UNC Chapel Hill in 2021 with a degree in journalism and media, and a minor in creative writing.

I grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina and you can find me sipping coffee, looking for birds, rock climbing, subway reading, and sitting under a really good tree.
